Sound and camera system – volunteers needed; training provided!

We’re still looking for some more volunteers to learn and operate our new sanctuary sound and camera systems. All adults and youth are welcome to get trained, and no previous experience is required. We won’t be having a specific group training session, instead, you’re invited to sign up as individuals or small groups to be trained on a given day on this shared spreadsheet. You’re encouraged to sign up for any available date, when Sharon (video) and Mike (audio) will be there to show you everything you need to know – that way, you can learn as you go with a trained person alongside to answer any questions you might have. Up to six people can sign up on any available date: three for audio and three for video. Once you’ve been trained in this way, you can then sign up (on the same spreadsheet) to help out on future Sundays/other events. Three things to keep in mind:

1) The spreadsheet is a shared-edit document, so please take care not to change or overwrite anyone else’s input. It will save automatically once new information is input. If you change something by mistake, here’s how to restore a Google document to a previously saved version

2) The audio and video systems are (mostly) independent of one another, so they require separate sign-ups and trainings.

3) When you are signed up for a given day, please arrive 20 minutes early to learn about the set-up process. Don’t forget that worship services will start at 10:15 beginning on Sunday, July 3
