DESCRIPTION:Build Solidarity with women across race in an interactive 3 day workshop in April. \n\n\n\nThe Bridging\, Bonding\, and Building Women’s Social Trust RetreatProvided by Getting to We \n\n\n\nJoin in a transformative\, competency-building\, fun experience designed to enhance social trust as a foundational aspect of a strong coalition of women invested in gender solidarity to advance racial equity. Any woman identifying person may attend. This conference is based on the nuanced racial identity work of Dr. Deborah Plummer\, author of Some of My Friends Are.: The Daunting Challenges and Untapped Benefits of Cross-Racial Friendships and the play “to My White Friends Who Know Me” . \n\n\n\nWhen:We will begin on Thursday\, April 18th at 4PM ET and end on Saturday\, April 20th at 12:30PM ET4/18 4-7:30 PM includes dinner4/19 8 Am to 5 PM4/20 8 Am- 12:30 PM \n\n\n\nWhere:Sessions will take place at Corporate College East 4400 Richmond Road Cleveland\, OH 44128. Participants are responsible for their own lodging.
