SUMMARY:UUs Together Summer Picnic! Sunday August 20th
DESCRIPTION:Please mark your calendar for a Cleveland UUs Together picnic at West Shore after church on Sunday\, August 20 from 1:00 to 3:00pm. We will join our fellow UUs from West Shore UU and Southwest UU. It is our second annual (we hope) picnic following last summer’s inaugural picnic at UUCC. \n\n\n\nThis is an opportunity to get to know each other better and have some fun. West Shore will provide hot dogs\, buns\, condiments\, and beverages. We will also have vegan and gluten-free hot dogs and buns available courtesy of Southwest UU. \n\n\n\nTo help in our planning\, please let me know if you plan to come and if you will be bringing other UUCC friends and family. All ages are welcome. Also\, let me know if you prefer the vegan and gluten-free version of the hot dogs. \n\n\n\n Optional: Bring a snack or dessert to share\, if you like\, labeled with dietary information.

DESCRIPTION:Climate Change is real and huge\, and it’s also very local. Join us on Monday\, August 21 from 6-9 in Fellowship Hall for “Climate Fresk\,” a fun and informative workshop on climate change focused on the Northeast Ohio. Pizza will be served.  Adults and high school students welcome.  Space is limited so register soon. \n\n\n\nThe Northeast Ohio Climate Fresk is a workshop that provides quality climate education in an interactive\, game-style format\, followed by group discussion and reflection\, current regional climate plan information\, and additional engagement opportunities.  The goals are to teach attendees the fundamental science behind climate change\, empower them to take action\, and learn about the Northeast Ohio Climate Action plan process and engagement opportunities.
