Joseph\, Ph.D.\, is the Leona Bevis and Marguerite Haynam Professor of Community Development at the Jack\, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. He is the Founding Director of NP3: Nurturing People. Power. Place\, formerly the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities. Joseph is an influential speaker\, coach\, and consultant with a cutting-edge approach to advancing racial equity and justice through Everyday Antiracism. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Chicago and was a Harlech Scholar at Oxford University. He is the co-author of the award-winning Integrating the Inner City: The Promise and Perils of Mixed-Income Public Housing Transformation\, along with numerous publications on urban equity and inclusion. We hope this gathering will be even bigger than NO KINGS III.  If we believe our country is backsliding in democracy\, we need to ask\, what can I/we do?  A rally doesn’t fix things\, but if counters the perception by those who would control us that we are not paying attention and they can do what they will and destroy our democracy.
