Each month we gather in community to share food and fellowship. \n\n\n\nSpring has sprung and the cold weather is behind us\, cross your fingers. Some people say “April showers bring May flowers”\, but Harry’s Kitchen Crew (“HKC”) says… “April weather brings Harry’s Kitchen Crew back to share delights!” \n\n\n\nThis month’s dining theme is … “What’s in your SPRING Step?” Come skipping in or hopping in or walking into the Fellowship Hall for a shared meal together. Harry’s Kitchen Crew will prepared the “main” entrees to cover everyone’s dietary needs. \n\n\n\nWe ask that you\, if you can\, bring the following to share: \n\n\n\nThe congregation member(s) with last name that begins with letter A thru K will supply the SALAD or SIDE DISH for 8 people. \n\n\n\nAND \n\n\n\nThe congregation member(s) with last name that begins with letter L thru Z will supply the DESSERT for 8 people. \n\n\n\nYou can drop off your shared dish at the Kitchen Window and the Crew will tag & place them on the tables in the Fellowship Hall. \n\n\n\nWe all look forward to seeing you on Sunday\, April 12th. \n\n\n\nThis springful message was provided by the wonderful members of Harry’s Kitchen Crew!

DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Earth Day\, the Community of Rainbow Affirming Youth (RAY) is thrilled to partner with the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership to host Flowing Together: Expressing Interdependence with the Natural World Through Watercolor Painting. \n\n\n\nUsing water gathered from Doan Brook\, LGBTQ+ teens and teen allies (ages 12–18) will explore the theme of interdependence—between people\, place\, and planet—through watercolor painting. Guided by Emily Kao\, Executive Director of Doan Brook Watershed Partnership\, participants will learn how the brook connects and sustains our community\, and reflect on their own relationships with nature and each other. \n\n\n\nYouth will have the opportunity to express their thoughts\, feelings\, and memories through art. The movement’s three founders will share what sparked their interest in GCC’s organizing model\, how and why they came together to create and build GCC in Cleveland\, their most powerful highlights and insights along the way\, and their vision for the future. \n\n\n\nThis celebration will connect newer congregations and newer members of our congregations to GCC’s roots and build our understanding of how GCC’s organizing strategies can make systemic change–empowering communities\, delivering added resources\, and transforming unjust systems into just ones. You’ll engage with the data\, hear real stories from those impacted\, and explore the research shaping this work\, while discussing how we can take meaningful action together. \n\n\n\nPlease consider attending one of these six sessions: Wed.
