Finance Committee Report

  1. Our financial performance from operations (loss of $217k) is about $53k behind budget for the first three quarters of our fiscal year 
    1. Pledge income of $409k is about $4k lower than budget
    2. Rental income of $27.5k is about $3k below budget 
    3. Total operating revenue of $569k is $11k behind budget.
    4. Expenses of $786k are $41k higher than budget – mostly due to the capital campaign (both timing of expenses in the budget and the actual cost of the campaign).
  2. “Other income” of $20k is $171k better than budget due to investment gains of $126k (net of investment fees) and timing of some capital improvements projects
    1. NOTE: This excludes $712k in capital campaign receipts (and a small amount of interest on these funds) that are included in our financial statements 
    2. Our overall finances show a loss of $197k vs a budgeted loss of $316k 
      1. Again, this excludes the $712k of capital campaign receipts
