Annual UUCC Auction

Welcome to the Jungle, we got fun and games………And plenty of dinners, trips and collectibles, goods and services.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Donate Goods: If you have items that you believe would be appealing to our congregation and the wider community, such as baked goods, jewelry, stained glass, or fabric art, please consider donating them.

Offer Services: Are you a talented chef, musician, handyman, or have any other skills that people might be interested in? Offering your services for auction can be a fantastic way to contribute.

Host an Event: Do you like to cook for others or gather with friends for a special movie or game? Offer a movie night, dinner party, or evening of games. You can co-host with friends and share the evening’s fun.

Experiences: Donations of unique experiences can be particularly exciting for auction participants. These could include tickets to a sports event, a weekend getaway, or a guided tour of a local attraction.

To make a donation, please contact the Auction Team at auctionteam@uucleveland.org. We will happily arrange for the collection or drop-off of your donations. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out at any time.

Please carefully read through the auction rules below.

The Auction will be live and in-person only!

  • Bidding, Shipping and Delivery
  • To bid simply fill out the bid sheet information. Bidding will end at 7:30 pm to allow time for check out. 
  • “Minimum raise” means you must raise the prior bid by the amount noted. Highest bid(s) win! In case of multiple offerings of one item, for example if a service is offered to the 3 highest bidders, those with the top 3 highest bids (even if they are the same amount) will win. So when in doubt, raise the bid.
  • “Buy now” listings are items for which the price is fixed and have limited quantities. 
  • Invoices for all unpaid items will be sent to the winning bidder at the end of the auction if not paid via credit card via UUCC paypal, check or cash the day of the auction. Bidders must pay invoices in full not later than Nov 15 before receiving the item or service. All takeaway items must be paid for in advance.
  • For donors, a listing of what you donated, its value, and who bought the items will also be available and emailed after the end of the auction.
  • All winning bids, donations and buy-now purchases are non-refundable
  • Donations such as group dinners and other gatherings will be scheduled dependent on donor and or winning bidders, if a date is not already listed. 
  • Takeaway items, including but not limited to baked goods, gift baskets, and jewelry not already at the auction will have a scheduled pickup or delivery time organized by winning bidder and donor. Otherwise arrangements may be made by the auction coordinators.
  • In the unlikely event you do not see anything you like or you just want to give the auction an extra financial boost, you can do so via donation.

  • For those unable to attend the Auction, you may want to find yourself a “proxy” bidder. Instruct your bidder as to the items you would like, and how high you would be willing to bid. Any corrections, additions or cancellations will be posted Auction Day.
