Earth Month at UUCC : Focus on Food Waste

UU Ministry for Earth invites (really, URGES!) you to join us in exploring during the
month of April how to reduce food waste. Why? According to Project Drawdown,*
reducing food waste is one of the most impactful solutions to reducing carbon
emissions. Food waste contributes to continuing hunger around the world and adds to
environmental degradation in several ways.

Join us as we take a congregational deep dive to develop practices that will reduce our
personal food waste, and to see how we can have an impact on both hunger and
carbon dioxide reduction.
