Helping Hands Network Provides Assistance

Helping Hands Network is the volunteer-based group that provides help to congregants who need a ride, meals or other assistance on an ad hoc basis.

A team of helpers is there at the ready. You may ask for yourself or suggest someone who may benefit from our assistance.  This is done confidentially.

Covid puts a difficult twist on this type of pastoral care, however. If you or someone you know is quarantining, this could provide the individual with groceries or library books picked up or returned when the person can’t get out.  Please give us names and we will reach out.

Rides and some other assistance may or may not feel safe. Keep us in mind as we are designed to help our community.

Perhaps you have time, energy or a hankering for a way to serve.  If you want to add a service component to your New Year, we would love for you to join our Helping Hands Network.
