On Thursday May 14th, at the last IMPACT session for the 2025-2026 school year, eleven alumni joined the 25 IMPACT students for this special session to say goodbye to Briana and celebrate the four (4) great years with Briana on the IMPACT staff. Orchestrated by IMPACT Director Sandy Troupe, each alum shared what IMPACT meant for them. The event was poignant and fun as shown in the attached pictures.
With this, UUCC’s IMPACT Youth Enrichment Program, serving Shaker Heights Middle School students, completes its first twenty-five years. IMPACT was originally founded by UUCC congregants. The church has provided continued significant support for IMPACT with financial aid and by providing meeting space in Fellowship Hall, access to the Kitchen, and access to the Community Garden and Orchard. UUCC congregants have supported IMPACT by volunteering help for program activities, serving on the Board, and generously contributing to the annual IMPACT collection basket.
