Sandy Troupe is someone you may already know. She has been working
with IMPACT students for 3 years and recently became Program Director – replacing ConnieMarie Mahaffey who moved to Washington DC..
Staff member Kevin Zarders is here for his 4th year and dresses warmly because IMPACT boys love to play football outside in 10 degree weather.
Kudos to both for their perseverance, IMPACT went virtual at the beginning of COVID, met outdoors
in smaller numbers last summer, and this school year has been virtual, hybrid and now in person (with some students still virtual). The staff’s belief in the program has sustained it through some rocky times.
