Ministry For Earth Fall Congregational Read: “Entangled Life” 3 pm September 25, 2021

How Fungi Make our Worlds, Change our Minds & Shape our Futures
Book Discussion September 25th at 3 PM

Our own Claudia Victoroff will lead a discussion of “Entangled Life” by Merlin Sheldrake, a book on fungi that also happens to be Claudia’s area of study. Claudia is working for her PhD. in mycology (the study of fungi) at Case Western and Holden Arboretum, an interest that she traces back, in part, to her attendance at Permaculture Potlucks at the church. The book has received rave reviews (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/27/books/review-entangled-life-fungi-merlin-sheldrake.html). It describes how fungi, after years of vast scientific misunderstanding as obscure, minor versions of plants, are every bit as important and ubiquitous as plants and animals. They literally affect everything we eat and do. So, read this great book and then discuss it with our homegrown expert! You will see the world in a new way. Saturday September 25 at 3 PM EST
