The canopy over the sidewalk facing the parking lot will be torn down beginning the week of April 21, assuming contractual details are finalized and weather permitting. The canopy has deteriorated and become both a safety concern and an aesthetic issue. It will not be replaced but both entrances/exits will have roof extensions that will provide cover from inclement weather for people entering and exiting the building. Also, due to cost considerations, the steel beam support structures will be left in-place. The work is expected to take approximately 1-2 weeks.

The work should not impede access to the building but at times people may be directed to different entrances while work is being done.
