The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland is joining faith communities across Ohio and the USA in paying tribute to the victims of the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. This week, on the front lawn of the Shaker campus, an empty chair sits in memory of each individual murdered in the Texas school shooting.

Other participating congregations in the Cleveland area, so far, include the United Methodist Church of Macedonia, First Church in Oberlin, Church of the Redeemer in Westlake, Church of the Savior in Cleveland Heights. The local observance appears to have been started by the United Methodist Church of Berea.
