Dear Fellow Congregants!
Our 2024-2025 Stewardship Campaign, “Nourishing Our Spiritual Home!” has kicked off with a bang!
Nearly 120 of us attended one of the nine Gratitude Gatherings at the homes of our fellow congregants over the past two weeks. Each featured great food, fun games, interesting conversation and connections. Randy, Allan, Board and Stewardship Committee members spoke to us and answered questions about our congregation, our building, our challenges, our opportunities and our future. At many of them, people hung around to chat and didn’t want to leave when the “official” time wrapped up. Many thanks to all who hosted and who attended!
Our gatherings focused on gratitude for what we each bring and receive at UUCC. We also heard that it currently costs about $2100 per adult contributor to pay our staff, operate our programs and take care of our building. We received our Stewardship envelopes, which, in addition to pledge materials, include the new copy of our members & friends directory. If you couldn’t attend, your envelope has been mailed to you and should arrive any day.
Our Stewardship Campaign runs through the month of March. Pledges make possible our mission to build a strong community within and without, to deepen our spirituality, to enhance learning, and to advance social justice. Please consider what UUCC means to you, and what you can do to increase financial support of our spiritual home. We ask you to make as generous a financial commitment as circumstances allow. The stewardship materials offer a guide in this regard.
Please answer the call to Stewardship! Please do your part to Nourish Our Spiritual Home!
In Fellowship with Gratitude,
