Water for Gardens & Other Improvements for Community Engagement
This project was designed to bring water from the church, piped under our driveway, to the Community Gardens. This eliminated the use of ground-level water hoses that crossed two driveways and a sidewalk, presenting a trip hazard and wasting significant amounts of water. The project is intended to enhance the attractiveness of our gardens and grounds.
Additionally, improvements were made to the Community Garden, including an A-frame picnic table, a bench inside the garden, a bike rack, and two raised beds. A trashcan made of recycled materials with separate bins for trash and recyclables was installed next to the community garden. A portable fire pit for use at congregational events has been acquired.
This project is complete
