Welcome to Stewardship 2026-27

Email, 2/28/2026

Dear Congregants, Members, and Friends,

The 2026-2027 Stewardship Season begins March 1, offering us an opportunity to support the congregation, our Minister, staff, and programs that promote our mission. UUCC’s clear three-part mission—building community, deepening spirituality, and advancing justice—directs our efforts.

We appreciate your current support and rely on you. Thank You! Let’s meet the anticipated operational expenses for the 2026-2027 fiscal year by responding generously to this year’s Annual Stewardship Campaign!

As in past years, our Stewardship Campaign includes Gratitude Gatherings on weekends of February 28 and March 1, March 7 & 8. Please RSVP.

The gatherings include fun activities, an informational program, and excellent food and libations. These two-hour relaxed social gatherings allow us to acknowledge our gratitude, celebrate our accomplishments, and deepen our bonds. You’ll reconnect with old friends and meet new members. Please respond to the invitation you received—if you did not receive one, please let us know right away!

Board and Stewardship Committee members will present the opportunities we are embracing now, as well aspirations for the future , and budget requirements, with time for questions and discussion.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow congregants, build a stronger community, and share hopes and concerns. As guests at a volunteer congregant’s home, we’ll learn about our congregation’s work and meet familiar and new faces. Each gathering will include information about this fiscal year, the latest membership directory, and a pledge card. Please note: No individual pledges or donations will be made at these gatherings!

The most important thing we can do for each other and for the UUCC community is to acknowledge our gratitude, show up for our congregation, re-imagine what our community can mean in the present moment and next year.

Be a champion for the UUCC community!

Answer the call to stewardship!

(Don’t make me come over there!)

Stewardship vs Building our Tomorrows: Two campaigns, Two Purposes

You may be wondering what’s the difference between the Stewardship Campaign and the Building Our Tomorrows Capital Campaign.

Think of it like your household finances: Stewardship funds our checking account (to pay staff, programming, utilities, and maintenance), whereas the Capital Campaign is for building our savings account in order to pay for a major renovation of our building.

Pledges to each campaign are separate. And indeed, congregants are asked to make a pledge to each campaign.
