The UUCC board of trustees will be sharing our focus for the 2024-25 year at the congregational luncheon following the Ingathering Service on September 8. We look forward to joyfully sharing and renewing our communal bonds as people return from summertime travel and activities. So please mark your calendars.

A little background about the board presentation – During the Spring of 2024 the board presented a draft strategic plan to the congregation and solicited feedback. As we discussed this draft with members of our congregation, a few items seemed to rise as primary concerns of our community: financial sustainability, facility concerns, and communication.

Based on this feedback, the board is going to focus on three pressing priorities in the 2024-2025 congregational year: financial stability, facilities that meet our needs, and board communication. We look forward to sharing more details about our plans and also getting input on what kind of communication you would like to see from your board. More details to follow in next week’s newsletter.
