What an incredible start for our team of abolitionists! We continue to be incredibly successful in our work as 100% of all closed cases have resulted in zero jail or prison time for our clients.
Success stories from the field:
- We helped a homeless man with felony charges with the simple task of making his court dates so he can continue to stay employed while he saves up enough money to buy a home of his own. Anything is possible with enough strength, determination, and hope.
- A single-mother we are working with will get to stay home with her family this holiday season as her case was closed and we continue to work with her to get furniture and other items she needs for her home.
- We have also helped people to get connected to drug and alcohol recovery programs, get to AA meetings, and get back on track.
- Special shout out to Pat & Bill who are diligently working housing court cases which are nuanced and very difficult for our clients.
