Justice After Arrest: Pre-Trial Justice Teach-In

| Our Pre-Trial Justice team has been closely monitoring our court system and identifying changes that must be made to the arraignment process. What to expect: Building on the success of our Youth Bindover Court Watch program, we are launching a new initiative that invites members to attend arraignment court. Far too many people are jailed before they are tried and treated as if they are sentenced before they are even charged. We can and must do better. Join the team as we finalize a strategy to ensure every person in our system receives the pre-trial justice they deserve. The agenda will be from 12:00 p.m -1:00 p.m. sharp to honor those who are taking a lunch break to join us.
