Creating Human Solidarity Workshop at UUCC & West Shore

UU Congregation of Cleveland and West Shore UU Church are hosting the Creating Human Solidarity Workshop from the Soul Focused Group. This is a unique experience that builds on the work of anti-racism and other anti-oppression work.

About the workshop:

Hank Azaria speaking about the Creating Human Solidarity Workshop

This workshop is a very interactive experience focusing on the messaging we have received about ourselves and others that serve to separate and divide us from our true selves and each other. It includes tools to replace these negative messages with positive ones that allow us to regain our natural problem solving abilities.

About The Soul Focused Group

The Soul Focused Group team that created the CHS workshop has well over 100 years of combined experience working to end racism and other oppressions. At the Soul Focused Group we understand that the primary purpose of creating racism was to divide people who would naturally come together. Therefore, we decided that the antidote to racism, the ultimate antiracist act, is returning to human solidarity. We also came to realize that in order to be in solidarity with others, we have to also be in the process of being in solidarity with ourselves.
