Universal means everyone. And the idea of “everyone-ness” is a crucial part of UU values that shows up in all sorts of ways.
But how do we hold that everyone-ness without losing all the particularities and peculiarities that makes us the diverse body that we are? These are questions that should animate our sense of curiosity and our desire to listen.
As we reflect on these themes this month, some of the ideas is this TED talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will resonate in lots of ways. We wanted to make sure everyone could watch the whole thing, so here’s your chance!
