Food for Our Minds and Spirits: The King

Sometimes it is hard to tap into our spiritual selves or find time to nurture our intellectual curiosity. Here is a section that reflects on some nourishing materials from around the web and related media channels in order to get us thinking, get us feeling, and get us reflecting on the lives we are living in this big, beautiful world. **Some Adult/Mature Themes May Appear in Links and Other Attached Material**

Michael K. Williams passed away on Wednesday in New York City. He was an actor who appeared in The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, the miniseries When They See Us, among much else.

I would wager that he is one of the finest actos to be on screens in the past 25 years. He was a revelation in The Wire, and his follow up performances in all kinds of venues showcased his extraordinary range and masterful sense of artistry through his performance. I shared this on Facbeook this week, but its especially appreciate to return to one of the best short piece of any kind I’ve seen, and Michael K. Williams makes his experience, his persona and his acting center of the stage. I can’t recommend this short piece enough. And I can’t say enough about this extraordinary actor whose work, now, is all that we have of him.
