Food for Our Minds and Spirits: Unlikely Animal Friends

On Sunday morning this past week I was able to talk about “unlikely animal friends.” Since I am not a zookeeper and because I do not have a travel projector set up to the internet, I was only able to allude to the fact that there are LOTS of wonderful examples of this now that people have cameras in their pockets to capture these experiences. So, of course, I’m desperate to share a bunch of examples here! So, without further ado, enjoy some amazing examples of animals being together in unlikely ways!

Have you ever seen a dog riding a tortoise?

Sometimes, animals and human beings connect in meaningful ways, and then they separate. What happens when they come back together?

Whales can be special friends, but they can also be extraordinary protectors. This story always moves me.
