Greater Cleveland Congregations: Training Opportunity

Metro IAF Great Lakes Affiliates Offering Leadership Training

GCC engaged lots of new leaders in 2020 in our issues campaigns, such as our Battle for Democracy voter engagement campaign, our campaign to make a mental health and addiction crisis diversion center a reality and our work on providing free community-based COVID-19 testing in heavily impacted communities of color. Now that people see how we work and how our work leads to real change, we want to create a training opportunity so you can learn about how we organize and the skills we practice to create change.

IAF affiliates located in the states bordering on the Great Lakes, including GCC, are offering three 90-minute Zoom-based leadership training sessions. Trainings 2 and 3 are for leaders who have been to Training 1, the Overview/Intro session, or have participated in a past GCC University or IAF National Training. Here’s the line-up:

  1. Overview of Broad-Based Power Wednesday, January 20th, 7-8:45pm
  2. Why and How to Do Meaningful and Productive One-to-One Relational Meetings Wednesday, February 3rd, 7-8:45pm
  3. Why and How to Do a Power Analysis Wednesday, February 17th, 7-8:45pm

Here is the registration link. You will be sent a confirmation and a link to each session
