Helping Hands Network is the volunteer group that provides help to members who need a ride, meals or other assistance on an ad hoc basis. Nancy Allman and Laurie Holmes are now leading the group, building on the groundwork of Jackie Stimpert and Cheryl Hanger.
Several volunteers from before have re-upped. Yet often the needs of our congregation outnumber these kind folks. Perhaps you have time, energy, or a hankering for a way to serve? Generally volunteering involves driving, meal preparation, lending a special skill you have, or helping someone during a recovery. You get to pick and volunteer when and how you choose.
Won’t you please contact Nancy or Laurie to become part of the Helping Hands Network?
