Do you have youth in the YRE program on Sunday mornings? Are you wondering what to do while your youth are enjoying their classes? Starting Feb. 6, we are having a Parent Gathering from 9:30-10:30 during the Religious Education hour each RE week, meeting in person in room 106. A part of the Adult Religious Education program, this informal gathering is designed for parents to connect and relax. We have no formal agenda, other than a chalice lighting and a check-in. Then the floor is open to discuss whatever is on the group’s mind – whether serious topics or best TV shows to watch. Parents don’t have to sign up or commit to weekly meetings – come when you can. Initially led by Molly Watkins and Caryl Yoo, facilitation of these gatherings may rotate among interested parents.
