Our UUCC Strategic Plan includes engaging more members in justice work that makes our community more equitable, inclusive and resilient.
Further, it calls us to develop educational, experiential and worship opportunities that build and nurture an internal culture of anti-racism and anti-oppression.
The Racial Justice Leadership Team’s charge is to integrate racial justice into all areas of our UUCC community. One way we can involve a large number of members is by incorporating racial justice actions into all our groups, committees, and Covenant Groups. The RJLT, with the endorsement of the Board, is asking each group to consider dedicating one meeting or event in our 2021-2022 church year to addressing racial justice. We have come up with some suggestions, but each group is encouraged to be creative and find their own way of honoring our UUCC goal of building an internal culture of anti-racism and anti-oppression
