Daniel Cooperrider is a writer, ecotheologian, and pastor in the United Church of Christ. Daniel is the author of Speak with the Earth and It Will Teach You: A Field Guide to the Bible, Gold Winner in the 2023 Nautilus Book Awards, and Live Each Season as It Passes: Re Earthing Spiritual Practice.
In this presentation on “re-earthing spiritual practice,” Daniel will draw from his two books as well as pastoring an outdoor “wild church” community, to trace and encourage an evolution in theology or spirituality of nature beyond the dominion and stewardship paradigms, and towards a kincentric paradigm of relationship and reciprocity with the more-than-human world.
