Life’s Toolbox for Pre-Teens: Connecting With Nature
July 12 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Over the past few months, the Youth Academy of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland (UUCC) has been building a “Life’s Toolbox” with pre-teens—filled with healthy, mindful practices to support well-being. Through movement, yoga, writing, games, and art, participants have explored tools such as personal space, feeling identification, yogic breathing, mindful doodling, and journaling.
Our next session invites pre-teens to explore how connecting with nature can support a healthy and balanced life. Together, we’ll step outside, slow down, and build deeper awareness of the natural world.
This free program is open to all youth ages 9–12, including UUCC members, friends, and anyone in the wider community.
To reserve a spot, email valerie.hura@uucleveland.org with your pre-teen’s name.
Valerie Hura, Youth Academy Coordinator, will follow up with more details.
