UUCC committee chairs and ministry team leaders will gather on Saturday, September 26, 10AM – Noon in the Fellowship Hall for a time to support a new year of shared ministry. The past couple of years, we’ve really valued spending some time early in the fall to learn about one another’s ministries, coordinate our calendar for the year, and explore ways that we can collaborate and make best use of our collective resources. We’re setting aside the morning of Saturday, Sept. 26, as an opportunity for leaders to connect and prepare for the year ahead.

This year, we’ll also be exploring whether a new whole-church spiritual development resource will be meaningful for our congregation. This resource, Woven Faith, is in its pilot year, and we’ve been invited to try it out and provide feedback. If we are committed to weaving our spirituality into the work of the congregation, it can be helpful to have prepared materials that center common spiritual themes in all of our congregational spaces. On September 26, Jenni Papp and Rev. Randy will share more about their hopes for how Woven Faith can be a part of our collective ministries.

Leaders should bring their visions for the year, dates or plans for any specific events they have in mind, and a spirit of collaboration.
