Creativity as Spiritual Practice

If you’re like Rev. Joe, at some point in your life you felt a lot of pressure to develop this thing called a “Spiritual Practice.” Having a spiritual practice, people who are cool and collected say, helps them be cool and collected. For many of us, though, developing a spiritual practice, a habit of attending to your inner self as it relates to that which is of deep importance, might have felt like just one more task to add to your to-do list. One more thing that you might not be good at, one more thing to fail.

Join us this Sunday as Rev. Joe, with a healthy dose of help from Karin Tooley, our Staff Musician, and Amy Collins, our Commissioned Lay Minister, shows you how a spiritual practice might be very different from what you’ve thought it was, and how good you may already be at having one.
