Food for Our Minds and Spirits: Grover and Dave Matthews

I love Grover. And while his music was mainly a big deal to me when I was much younger, I still love Dave Matthews. The idea that there would be a collaboration between the two is the kind of thing that would get me excited. But the fact that Sesame Street DID put them together and put them together for a song about finding words for our feelings turns into something both adorable and deeply real in an “everything I need to know I learned in kindergarten” kind of way.

You’ll be hearing more on this theme of sorting out how we feel this coming Sunday when Rev. Randy Partain leads us to confront our feelings in a way that helps us explore, in an honest and real way, who we are. I hope this song can accompany you on the journey.

Sometimes it is hard to tap into our spiritual selves or find time to nurture our intellectual curiosity. Here is a section that reflects on some nourishing materials from around the web and related media channels in order to get us thinking, get us feeling, and get us reflecting on the lives we are living in this big, beautiful world. **Some Adult/Mature Themes May Appear in Links and Other Attached Material**
