Jess Levy is thrilled to have been elected to the UUCC Board of Trustees. Over the years he has served on various committees, first as a member of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Cleveland (UUSC), and now as a congregant of UUCC. His involvement includes Religious Education Committee chairperson (UUSC), worship associate (UUSC/UUCC), and most recently on the Youth Religious Education Committee. He has also volunteered with numerous ad-hoc initiatives as well. He feels that his experience, in combination with strong mentorship will allow him to excel as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Jess Levy is a midwesterner through and through. He grew up outside of Columbus Ohio, and after going away for his undergraduate degree (University of Florida), he attended medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. There he met his wife, Yue Yuan. Dr. Levy is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as general “adult” psychiatry. He is the proud owner of A+ Psychiatry, which specializes in treating ADHD across the lifespan. He and his wife live in Orange Village, Ohio with their son Ethan, age 8, their daughter, Avery, age 5, and their dog Marshall. They became UUs shortly after moving to Cleveland, after searching for a spiritual home for their young multiethnic, interfaith family.
