As we explore religious naturalism this summer, we might be tempted to engage at a purely intellectual level. Can we truly comprehend the concept of nature as divine inspiration without feeling a deep sense of inspiration and relational connection? Embodied experiences, where we are literally touching that which we hold sacred, might be a powerful pathway to a deeper spiritual understanding.
