UUCC Adopts 8th Principle at Annual Meeting

At our Annual Meeting held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 the members present voted to adopt the 8th Principle, which reads:

The members of the UU Congregation of Cleveland covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.

Congratulations to UUCC! Many thanks to Nancy King Smith, the Racial Justice Leadership Team, and the many other members of the congregation who led and participated in studying this issue.
