Youth 9+ and families: Join the Stream Sweep!

“Earth Day Stream Sweep!” In partnership with Doan Brook Watershed (check them doanbrookpartnership.org) the UUCC Youth Academy will be sweeping a stream to promote sustainability of our local watershed. Youth ages 9-18 and are invited to join us from 10:00- 12:00 noon to help us make the earth a healthier place. If parents are interested in joining us for this program please let us know when you email Youth Academy Coordinator, Valerie Hura, at [email protected] to register your youth.
MyCom is a partner of the Youth Academy, and the teen summit is focusing on Social Emotional Wellness. Community organizations Queen I AM and 2nd ACT will be facilitating workshops for the teens. Authors and public speakers, William Aden and Leon Walker will be presenting “Bound by Resilience”.
