Register Now for the Journey Small Group

You’re invited to join our next Journey small group for spiritual development! Scheduling will be based on participants’ availability, so registering soon will give us a chance to pick a convenient day and time for you.

What is The Journey? The Journey is an evolving spiritual development curriculum for small groups at UUCC. This spiritual expedition explores Deepening Awareness, Elements of Integrity, Our Internal Guidance System, Authenticity, and Overcoming Obstructions in the Path. The Journey is a toolkit for deepening your connection to your own inner wisdom and living more consistently by your personal guiding principles.

After a couple of very successful rounds of this curriculum, we’re exploring a more modular approach in response to some ideas from participants. If you’ll be around consistently this summer, you’re cordially invited into this first 10-week segment of The Journey. More opportunities will be announced in the fall. To register, contact Rev. Randy at [email protected]

Here’s what previous UUCC participants have said about The Journey:

  • “I’m much more free and vulnerable about talking to people… I’ve always been good at chitchat, but not necessarily deep sharing with people. I have grown in this way and don’t feel as awkward or scared about what will happen if I share my aspirations or dreams with people and the gaps there currently are in reaching those dreams.”
  • “The Journey helped me see that I don’t treat myself the way I think others should be treated.”
  • “I’ve begun experimenting with ways to exercise deeper honesty and speaking up for justice… I’ve realized ways in which I’ve not been acting in true alignment with my values in deep ways and am beginning to correct that misalignment and experiencing how rewarding that is.”
  • “It was a powerful thing to recognize all the ways in which I’d always believed I wasn’t enough, to begin to let go of that belief, and to see how freeing that feels.”
