Nikki Giovanni, world-renowned poet and one of the foremost authors of the Black Arts Movement, died near the end of 2024. Nikki left a rich legacy of poems – some might call them scripture. One poem in particular reflects on the stories we tell about who and what we are allowed to harm. We explore that text together this Sunday.
