We welcome a variety of species into worship as we take time to focus on our meaningful relationships with other animals. In many traditions, blessing someone or something imparts divine power or life. We recognize blessing the non-human animals in our lives as more than a casual expression of goodwill and care. In many ways, focusing our attention on the other animals in our lives reinforces our interdependence within a vast web of existence. Note: If your favorite non-human animals will be unable to join us, we invite you to bring along a picture or symbol of them. We will have a special table set aside for your pictures or symbols.
