We often talk about rites of passage in very limited ways. Our culture seems reluctant to fully celebrate all of the various transitions of our lives. This Sunday we take time to affirm and celebrate all of the thresholds we are crossing, whether those thresholds are connected to age, education, transportation, occupation, living situation, or any other intentional change we are inviting in our lives.
