When we fail to nurture the holiness of any part of us —when we allow some part of us to express itself in more destructive ways—when we veer away from our values and our calling as a people, it is inevitably because we do not feel safe. So, what can we do to understand and embody, deep in our bones, in the most undeniable depths of our spirits, that we are profoundly safe AND that we are custodians of one another’s mutual safety?
