A Rose in the Wintertime

In every part of the world, winter holidays are rooted in hope: the hope that light and warmth will return, the hope of peace and unity among humankind, and the hope that is inherent in the birth of every newborn child. UUCC Music Director Mike Carney will lead this service, joined by The Chancel Choir, The Treble Ensemble, and guest musicians Jody Guinn (harp), Erik Mann (guitar), and Andrew Pongracz (marimba). Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies of the Southwest will be featured throughout the service.

Whether you’re a longtime Unitarian Universalist or visiting for the first time, all are welcome to participate in this inclusive space. Children and youth are invited to join our religious exploration programs, while adults are welcome to stay for coffee hour following the service.

Come as you are—no matter your background, beliefs, or questions, you are welcome here.
