Some Tips for Putting Out Dumpster Fires

My wife and I exchange ornaments every year during the Winter holidays. The image here is the one I bought for 2020, the first year of the pandemic. A dumpster fire may be a real thing, but it stands in for a disaster that has gone from awful to horrible––a gross thing made worse.

Sometimes the world feels that way. And it’s easy to lose ourselves in the despondency of a world that feels out of control. Let’s gather the courage we can find and find ways to fight the dumpster fires that have flared up around us.
