The Vulnerability of Beloved Community

For decades now, Unitarian Universalists have been having conversations about being anti-racist, decentering Whiteness, and building multicultural Beloved Community. Unfortunately, some of those conversations start from a place of shame or defensiveness. Even in our congregation, we land in many different places with these ideas. What would it take for us to whole-heartedly embrace the challenges of co-creating a community that is just, equitable, and compassionate?
