Presidential powers are now elevated to those of a king, according to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, in her dissent of the recent Supreme Court ruling on Presidential immunity. She said the ruling could enable a President to misuse the Armed Forces against political opponents. Democracy may be hanging in the balance. What is the prognosis for this ruling?
