Most spiritual traditions have special language—words and phrases that have deep shared meaning for a community. In Unitarian Universalist communities, we have a bit of that too. But we also shy away from some words that are commonplace in other spiritual communities. What do we miss by avoiding spiritually-charged language? Is it possible for us to engage in the challenging work of reclaiming and redefining some of these words into something meaningful, both personally and in community with one another?
See you in-person Sunday morning. Services will also be live-streamed on Facebook or on YouTube.
